Been in the game a while but I'm still just a squirrel trying to get the proverbial nut. I live and work in Houston Texas. I use and have used all sorts of gear. I'm working more with softsynths lately just for the convenience of patch creation and storage. I don't use a lot of vintage gear. It's cool but it breaks down too much and the modern equivalents get the job done. There's a gear list below but I don't use everything on every track of course. My own style is hard to describe. I start in one genre but inevitably elements from others get mixed in. Lately I'm focusing on D&B, Psy-trance, trip-hop and deep house. I like to multi-track and mixdown all of my final productions but I'm making an effort to record as much as I can straight off the board to keep the content here fresh. I like the crowds and I play out whenever I get a chance. I can be contacted through this site for bookings. I travel light with only a laptop and a 25 key synth now and that gives me a portable studio and a lot less headache. All of the tracks here can be downloaded in their entirety or streamed. Do whatever with them just give credit when due. I've been working closely with Wounded Rabbit Productions. It's a startup in the area doing bookings, promotions and live production. I'm the VP of Technology. I've been running sound for many different bands and doing some studio work on live recordings. We'll also be doing some actual studio tracks for some for the bands. It's always interesting to work in a different aspect than what I do for my own music. It gives me a better perspective. I am available for sound engineering or recording if the client is in the area. I'm a web developer and Linux guy during the day. I also know more about general IT stuff than I might want to. I'm available for consulting and web work. This site, much like a mechanics car, could be more robust (buzzword 2 points) but I'm striving for efficiency. I race cars as a hobby and I have a minimal site dedicated to that at xgarage.net Thanks for stopping by I hope you find something you like. Mike
